Free crab trap (you p/u, comox harbour)

Hey folks,
Boat issues have kept me out of the water for a bit... and unable to retrieve a trap I dropped out front of HMCS Quadra in 100'. Red/white float, 150' rope, 1 lb. line weight, scotty bait holders, and vinyl coated black "box" trap are free to whoever finds it.
Float is marked "S.Wilson" with phone/address (pm info to confirm found?)

Would much rather someone retrieves it than have it "phantom fish" or tangle someone up.
 
I don't have my boat at the harbour right now, or I'd pick it up for you, and return it. Surely someone will be launching at comox and can help smtw out. Sorry to hear about your boat issues, hope you can get them straightened out and use that trap again !
 
I'll probably be going out Thursday evening when I get home from work, I'll bring it in for you if it's still there and post on this thread. Y'can't be giving away gear...we loose enough through theft[B)].

Thanks for the responses, and fishassasin thats a kind offer, unfortunately it will be sunday or monday before I would be able to.... thats why I figured I would post on here and hope someone snags it before it fouls someone else.
 
fishassasin... thanks for the look. Wouldnt be surprised if someone not on this site has already "retrieved" it. I do appreciate you looking though, and your offer. I normally dont like to leave traps out unattended, they seem to "move" (possibly from "courtesy" checks?), when I dropped this one I couldnt set a waypoint, GPS active antenna was gimped.
I dropped it in 91' directly out front of the glass building on the spit, near a big orange scotsman that I was using as a visual waypoint.
