Forum Suggestion - New forum for fishing reports only -

With the abundance of Fishing Report threads in the saltwater section, maybe a new forum within SFBC could be created to organize all of the sticky/non-sticky report threads.

So when you click on the main forum page you can choose : Fishing Reports, Saltwater Fishing, Freshwater Fishing...ect ect.

I know nothing about website/forum design, and I know it must be a lot of work to deal with all us yahoo's posting whatever we want, but I think this could be a good idea!

Only issue that I see FB is that lots of topics come up and are discussed within, and because of the fishing reports section. They do not always get their own saltwater report thread created, and therefore, you would have to scan each forum anyways. Just a technical thought. I don't mind either way.

Sounds like a good idea but I would call it Saltwater Fishing Reports. Trying to blend in Freshwater Reports would be too complicated.

Ya I meant for the Saltwater reports.....not to blend the two..

maybe I'm lazy but I hate going digging for nanaimo or gulf reports because there isn't room for a sticky, and if not updated daily they quickly find there way to page 2 with all the other threads going on. Not only that, 50% of the saltwater page is sticky fishing reports, which I dont mind, but all the saltwater stuff not directly related to reports ends up on page 2 in no time....and unless Im looking for something, I rarely go to page 2.

That and if the reports were in their own forum....well it would just be easier to track the fish via members reports.
On that note, those of you who do contribute with such great reports, including leaders, tackles, speeds, everything! is what makes this a great website. A BIG THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO DO. I don't see why some keep secrets...the information is right infront of us through this website and we STILL go out and get skunked. haha. you could know it all but in the end the fish need to be there, and a little more organized reports section would, I think, help in that respect.
