Ford Diesel Electronics Mechanic Victoria

Anyone have a good mechanic for troubleshoot ford 6.7 and doing electrical/electronics? I just went through a review of the Victoria ford dealership online service reviews and it looks scary.

I’ve had good experience with EDP and Prospect Lake, just not sure if they are up to the electronics troubleshooting, or if that needs to be done at the dealer these days. My buddies code reader was throwing a tons of codes after it wouldn’t start, with new batteries.

Ya I had a bad experience with Suburban breaking off the head of a bolt in the tailgate on my 6 month old truck. When I pointed it out they said it was like that when I brought it in. It was dark so went home. Next morning found the head of the bolt in the bed so I could never trust them. Island Ford in Duncan has provided much better service.

the 2014 a had would set the advance trac warning , if the tpms was on i had a slow leak in a front tire

He’s a good **** he’s part of our autopro world 👌🏻

What’s wrong with the truck?
Thanks guys. I got her running smooth but brought it to Precision today, who reset my deck that was stuck on permanently after I replaced the batteries, probably causing the whole rabbit hole, won't start and 25 codes. They are installing my CP4 fuel pump disaster prevention kit and gave me a long list of PM work I need to tackle. The Advance Trac message is not on, but I'm sure it will come back! Good to have a guy who knows diesel's close by.

Probably a good investment for someone with high miles that hasn't done the prevention kit yet and trucks in good shape. Apparently 6 hour job if you are a mechanic, 12 for a hack like me. I figure you need a top side creeper and a good shop layout to do either job so happy to get a shop that knows what they are doing to do the prevention kit.
Yeah, that's it. The DPK is obviously the cheaper though option though.

I'm holding off on anything aftermarket for this truck until the warranty is done. Then I'll shop around...
