Good question, although I’m not familiar with this unit, I understand it is one of the best technologies for reading bottom structure. So if you’re targeting ocean species at the bottom it’s great. Also great for lake bottom structure where fish hold. I don’t think Lowrance differentiates between ocean and lake transducers.
