Just passing on to forum members what I found out this evening :

I work Downtown so decided to swing by A&N this evening to get some supplies . Needed some new dummies and inline ( no time to go to my usual tackle shop)
Great deals -Clearance on Flashers and spoons -- Gibbs Highliner Flashers 4.99 !! / Mini Gibbs flashers 3.99 ! - Gibbs Far Better 7.49 !-- Gypsy spoons various sizes 1.69 - 3.99 ..... Wonder spoons, Glendon Stewart, Koho, Kitimat, Gypsy Croc etc....great prices.

If, indeed that is the A/N store on downtown Hastings, it was a great place for fishing gear when I was there many years ago! My dad brought our first fiberglass mooching rods from Hartly and Haywards the very first year they came out, which was located just behind A/N. Is H/H still there?.....BB

H&H has been gone for over 30 years now.

A&N is back in the fishing tackle game though-for the moment anyway- seems to be a problem with staffing as per SOP.

thanks for the heads up peahead, went down yesterday and scored some flashers and spoons, gettin thin on the red and green flashers now. a&n has been a great source for saltwater gear, with decent prices, for as long as i can remember, although i generally use nikka for all my bulk hooks swivels etc. and berry's has a couple of great sales every year not to be missed.
cheers and gl ferret
