just to clarify one thing ,
the roads are in much better shape typically in the Spring n Summer months , just dusty , it can be like a groomed ski run at times , our familly has been towing back and forth there for over 30 years, just pack the bearings well , good tires ,a good spare handy , take ur time , your fine ,dont overload the the boat , I still tow my 16 back and forth all the time, strap er down snuggly to the trailer so she doesn't seperate if ya hit a small pothole here and there , you should have NO Problems
Its a great road, very scenic. I would bring 2 spare tires, plus it all depends on wheather the road has had the grader on it. Watch your speed and always move over for the logging staff. I was out by China Creek Fish Camp when a forestry worker decided to pass; he did but he also sprayed gravel back at me and cracked my windsheild. Some steep parts to the road and narrow bridges. Watch out for the police and fisheries, they like to catch you off guard and do checks. But a great start of an adventure, have fun. Love that Cape Beale spot! Goodluck.....
