Fishing Lasqueti / Sangster Island

Looking for any info on best time of year and any other relevant info on fishing this area.

Long long ago there were lots of Coho off the south tips of Lasqueti & Sangster along with the occasional Spring haven't heard much from there the past decade or more.

Lasqueti does have lots of St Bernard dogs though.

Sangster is still popular with ECVI fisherman. Hit and miss in the last two seasons but when it's on, it can be ripper for springs.

The best part about fishing that area is you can still get live bait at fisherman's cove. Only place on the coast i believe. Anchor and mooch like the good old days....

Epsom point point off Thormanby can be quite good... decent fish are taken there every year but I think it is more June early July peak...

The Straight isn't what it used to be...
