Fishing From West Van

Hey guys im a total Noob but i love fishinG! i Plan on going to do some rock fishing tomorrow on my day off...is West Van any good or should a go down a bit further to schwartz bay area?? i assume i could be catching lingcod etc... any help would be awesome thanks [8D]

Do you know that West Van and Swartz Bay (assuming that Swartz and not "Schwartz" is what you are referring to?) are on opposite sides of the Georgia Strait??

Not sure if you can just "go down a bit further" to 'Schwartz' Bay?

Assuming from your earlier posts....you are in the lower mainland, so one location requires a Ferry and one likely just requires you crossing a bridge or two.

Make sure you check the regs for Rockfish conservation areas and closures for ling cod.
