hi I am a nuby here and I have mostly been a lurcher as I am sure to bee one of the least experianced salmon chasers on the site. We are getting ready for our sixth annual trip to shearwater .We don't like the drive from edm to Bella Coola but we love the drive from Coola to whiskey cove .This year we are pulling our 18.5 foot lund and our new to us a 2452 bayliner .we are 6 very pumped guys. Having first learned how to fish on a luxcury yach all we have known is to pull cut plug herring after reading on this site for the past few months we have more options for springs and hali .I will post after our return on aug 11 of our successes .Having lost our source of some supplies in shearwater we seem to be having a tough time finding plastic fishbags so if someone knows of an online supply house I would appreciate your help thanks all your help is much appreciated

I order my fishbags from discountplasticbags.com -
18 x 42 x 3 Mil Clear Poly Bags (L932) - $91 + tax and shipping for 250 bags.

good luck with your trip treestander. I've made the trip a few times with a 26'. quite the hill to come out of. had to use 4 wheel low on alot of the trip up the hillo. a little scary when the back wheels start spinning... hehe. hard to beat the scenery once out in the inlet though...

thanks for the help HFL. Got some bags today at walmart. Yup the hill is something else , especially in the middle of the night

yep, last time I did it, it was the middle of the night also... spun out in 1 spot, had to come to a stop and change from 4 high to 4 low... and it was dry that night. would have been fun had it been raining....
