Cords of fir in the Comox Valley and Campbell River are $160-$180 delivered. Pick up is normally $100-$120 a cord. Gulf Islands $200-$220

Fir is good, it burns hot but with a lot of smoke meaning more frequent chimney cleanings. Hardwoods like Birch and Maple are much better and that's typically what's sold out here. I cut all my own wood in January and I'm well stocked for this season.

Who did you get it from and is it any good? I didn't get a chance to get out in the bush to get any this year either. I've never bought wood before and I'd like to deal with someone reputable.
