Finfish: other than salmon---limit question

I have a long trip coming up and was reading the regs for the area I am fishing. I noticed that when reviewing the rockfish (yelloweye, ling, pcod..ect) regulations there is no possession limits given, just a daily limit. What does this exactly imply?

Is there no posession limit?
As I read the regs it is just a daily limit, so the following day, and consecutive days that follow, you can catch and cooler your daily limit?

Or am I missing something?

Its just puzzling, which could lead to confusion, as to why they detail both daily and possession limits for salmon but just a daily limit for rockfish. There is no mention of a posession limit for rockfish, see here:

Is there another place in the regs that states clear regulations for rockfish catches in relation to a 2day catch total?

Looks like another case of DFO not paying attention. I was sure as well that it was a two day limit for possession...........but it sure is open to debate after reading the regs.

Before you get too excited GDW, I was just looking for clarification so I can play by the book. Its not my fault that the DFO can put together a clear document detailing catch limits. I guess all their effort is spent making sure quotas and dollars are changing hands. Lol

Can you link me to the PDF document Ian, please n thanks. The printed manual I believe is just a guideline, as it will not list in season updates or changes. I would like to have an up to date printed version of the regs so I and my crew are aware and informed.

Yep, possession is double the daily limit for everything.

Once consumed, it no longer counts towards your possession limit, starting the next day!
