they should give our first nations people permits to harvest them..
the skin /fur is the best for hats, gloves, vests , boots , seat covers in your boat etc.

I ate seal often enough when growing up and living in Newfoundland. It was sustenance, we didn't have the money to be buying meat as often as we would have liked. Boiled and then baked, was the only way I ate it.
