Favourite Casting or Bucktailing Coho Flies

We have numerous favourites, but this one has been going off for casting and tied larger for Trolling. Pink is the colour right now, but will no doubt change soon.

Like the eyes on that one. Should be a winner with a little ablone (sp) spinner.

An ablone spiner is nice but pearl blade will do fine as well. I prefer more of a baby/ bubble gum pink though. A light pink.

This will be a cool thread. I am hoping to fly fish for some coho around Vic waterfront this summer so would love to see some patterns from the pros that I can tie up.

Tie it down to scale and it will slay the Cutties.....Pinks will take it but often like a little crystal chenille or other flash material incorporated in and tied not quite as long.

Chinook Salmon Fly

One of my favourites for casting to Chinook, tied larger they like on the slow troll as well but a little further back than Coho like it....The second image is tied in our regular 4-5 inch Needlefish size that we commonly sell.
