Far casting rod selection 50-100yd

Its for freshwater fishing spinning lures?

Need to find perfect specs for rod to cast 50-100yd.

1. What lure weight can fly that far?

2. What length of the rod, lure range and action?

Longer whippet rods typically cast further. Weight is your friend, but the trade off is more weight you use the faster you need to retrieve to keep it in the zone. I would say 100 yards is an impossibly. That’s a football field.

Then you have never seen the shore guys up island fish for coho. Not sure its a 100 yards but dam close lol. 14ft center pin rods with high end spinning reels does the job getting it out there. Trebig ??
