EZ Loader Bunk Slides

Tips Up

I have a hybrid trailer with Rollers up front an bunks on the back. Carpet is getting worn in some spots so time to fix up.
Bunk Slides look to be easy and more durable than carpet. Anyone have experience with EZ Loader Bunk Slides?
I know I can make my own and there are other Brands.... But this is what Sherwood Marine sells and I have to go there today so just looking for input on this specific Brand. My boat is fiberglass 17ft.
Thanks

I would suspect they are not much different than any number of brands out there. I just use the Tie Down Engineering 86164 slicks which have worked well for me over the years.

Reporting back that these are slick. They work well for the purpose and I expect will outlast carpet.

Did you just install over top of the worn carpet ?
( I have to look at doing something similar myself )
Yup. Just press fit them on then loaded boat. Screwed them down after that. It was recommended to do that to ensure they were flat and won’t crack from boat weight. $30 each. I used 4. My trailer is half rollers / half bunks.

On a fibreglass boat I would only use them on the backend of the trailer where the boat still floats without much weight onto the bunks. I found that with any decent weight on them they will wear your gelcoat quickly. I took them off again and put new carpet on the bunks. No more scratches since.
