Took the boat out for some crabs today and noticed i had left both my
black box and depth sounder turned on since last weekend.
I thought for sure the battery would be dead, but the motor started up no problem.
Do those electronics draw low enough charge that it does not affect
the battery ?

I've left my black box for a week or two, they don't pull much at all.

My ProTroll black box can run on the regular battery or back-up power...which is a 9v battery! Clearly doesn't draw much power.

I think sounder draws a bit more, I've had my battery dead from leaving on for a few days. Maybe yours draws less or you have a more powerful battery.

Even the new color sounders only draw around 1.5amps but going a week was likely getting close, try it for two weeks and let us know how it goes
