EBay Question

So I just sold US$300+ worth of Big Game lures on EBay-the one catch is that while I've been paid via PayPal as a 'new seller' the dough is held for 3 weeks.

That's not a Big Deal since I've processed some money through the account already I know I will get it-except......

I just wondered who the hell buys 4 lots of lures with the Buy Now option sight unseen-I mean can this guy claim he never received the goods and get his money back somehow?

Your on topic input much appreciated.

TIA

Hey Dogbreath,

I've bought and sold on E-bay for a couple years now and personally haven't run into this issue. Considering how things go though I'm sure that if there's a will there's a way. If you haven't shipped the package yet send it either double registered post or by courier so a signature is required at the receiving end. Then there's no "I didn't get it" issues and if they actually didn't get it the carrier can trace and insurance pays.

When you send the package via Canada Post you will get a tracking number. Give this tracking number to the buyer and track the package if necessary. If he or she is not home the package is sent to a local post outlet. A notice is given and the purchaser can pick it up with ID used to verify on pickup. Only issue I have had over the years of using Ebay is people from the states whining about the amount of time it takes to get a package.
