Easy Acess Lake Fishing in Tofino

I have fished the rivers around Tofino but never the lakes. Any suggestions for an easy access lake in the Tofino area that is kid friendly?

Nothing right close to Tofino but there's Kennedy Lake, Big Toquart and Little Toquart Lakes.

But watch the wind if you're (small) boating Kennedy. It can whip up so hard and fast, you'd swear you where fishing off shore.
