East Coast Pinks

Anyone getting any Pinks of the beaches along the inside yet. Fly or gear. Any tips would be great.

I don't know about the beaches, but they are in the Campbell River as of right now. They haven't made it all the way up the river yet but folks are catching them as far up as the Quinsum River pool. I stopped by the other day for an hour, I never got one but I saw a dozen or so jump in the hour I was there.
I talked to a fella that had caught a couple the day before, said they're pretty fiesty right now.

I prefer to hook them off the beach on the fly..... soon.

I think I have a woody, it's my favourite form of fishing right now and the anticipation is killing me. [8D][]

There are some showing up in Departure Bay already.

Pinks are both even and odd now, but even years are the weaker returns.
