After one engine, three long blocks and a current rebuild, my new mechanic has come to the conclusion my boat is over propped. If only the other guys had agreed when they did the work. It currently has an F8 and Victoria propellor has suggested an F6. Anyway after the sticker shock of new ones I thought I’d put it out there in case someone has anF6 set for sale. Haven’t decided what to do with the F8 set I had serviced to the tune of 1500 in March

Whats the specs on your boat? I have a set of stainless f5s which were on my 320gxi in a 26' hourston. I went down to f3s and never looked back...im in Vancouver however.

I’m picking up the boat today and I’ll ask the mechanic if that would work. I understand that F6 was what they suggested. To be honest I’m confused by how the size is determined. Please DM me with price if you want to sell and I’ll check to see if they will work with my mechanic. It’s a 4.3 Volvo Penta with a DP-SM 2.32 leg

That's a steep gear set, mine is 1.78 im almost positive.

It will be a bit like a week or 2...
