Does anyone know of any guides that specialise in drift boating the upper rivers? It seems like a great way of fishing the river, and enjoying the natural beauty of the Valley, while adding that go with the flow element. Ideally it would be an early start Sat. morning, fish from the boat and shore when we find a school, camp, then fish til Sunday afternoon.
Has anyone done this? I haven't seen any non powered boats when on the river. I know she really rips at points, that's why I would like to find a knowledgeable guide.
I posted this on another forum, but thought I would post here as well, as there are a lot of guides on here. I googled the topic and only found jet boat operators. If you know of anyone who might be into a trip down the river and who owns a boat, i would definitely like to talk to him. It seems popular on the Columbia but I haven't really seen it on the Fraser.
Thanks...
