One of the Courtenay auto dealers never put the asking price for thier vehicles in thier newspapers ads. So what happens ??? Folks who need to get a ball park figure to see if it will fit thier budget just keep on-a-moving. I was one of that crowd. Give me details and I'll have a closer look. Otherwise-- By-by!

Anyway-- I have referred this ad to a friend that is looking for a boat.... But with minimal info-- it remains to be seen if he follows through. One way or the other-- no matter to me. In spite of what you believe Rob-- I was trying to be helpful.

I hope this won't be considered 'crapping ' on a thread .....just some advise/comment to help ....
17 DE's are great hulls .... very seaworthy and dry boats for their size class. They have good high freeboard and are beamy for a 17. My understanding is that they pretty much sell themselves on reputation alone. A 90 is enough power for most uses. The power's age/hrs (and other extras) will obviously be the main variable with price.
