According to one fishing guru's article I just read:- if you apply your U.V. hoochy or spoon all over with a scent jelly or spray oil, it will stop the surface from reflecting U.V. light. I know there are some scents and gels that supposedly have U.V. in them......don't know if that makes up for it. But ordinary scents and gels will block the U.V. from reflecting, according to him.......
