Does Fisheries Minister Jordan care at all?

Very upsetting and insulting to watch Minister Jordan's answer to MP Bob Zimmer:

Does Federal Fisheries Minister Jordan care about the Public Fishery in British Columbia?
Why will the Minister not meet with her fellow MPs? Her scripted, talking point answers are continually dissapointing and disrespectful to fishing families that cherish the opportunity to go fishing. Thanks, MP’s Bob Zimmer and Ed Fast for pressing the coastal urgency to the Minister; she clearly needs it.
After two successive years of devastating regulations in Southern BC, the public salmon fishery is on life support. Minister Jordan and the DF0 have the tools and proposals to implement responsible, data-driven chinook salmon fisheries beginning in April 2021. These proposals avoid threatened Fraser River chinook and conserve the socio-economic values of the public fishery. This is the time to fight for access to sustainable fisheries before it is lost forever.
Email and call your local Members of parliament to express your concern! Specifically, call on Terry Beech, MP, Ken Hardie , and Patrick Weiler, MP , they know the issues and need to stand up for coastal communities.
THIS NEEDS TO BE SHARED... MORE TO COME AS PRESSURE MOUNTS FOR APRIL 1/2021

The only thing politicians care about is their job, their pay check and the huge gold plated pension when they're done. Most have never had a job with the pay, perks and pension they currently have and they will never have again in the private sector. They're trained pinnipeds serving the PM or Premier and their party. We are on their mind only briefly at election time when they concentrate on lying to the gullible..

I don't think any of the politicians are in it for the money. They typically make way more once they leave the public service and become a consultant, business lobbyist or corporate board member. They are in it for the power, the publicity and profile, the network they can create for their future private business careers. Some do genuinely try to service the public well and make this better. It's pretty clear in which camp Jordan is and what priority the BC fisheries has in her agenda.
