Do it Yourself Glo Paint

I have tried numerous glo paints from all over and never really been happy with them. Either way too expensive -too hard to get or you have to buy too much to ever use it. Salty-dog who used to do the LED lights came up with this idea and I'm using it more and more. The glo powder that you dip a hot jig into is usually easily obtainable and not too expensive But how to get it on a plug or spoon without heating it. Answer is to make a small amount of waterproof epoxy with hardener-mix in a generous amount of glo powder and paint it over your spoon or plug. Amazing results -especially if painted over a white base coat. Very durable!!

Can Tire has a Rustoleum glow spray bomb. Light green but works well. We have been spraying spoons and jigs and it seems durable.

Great idea where do you purchase this magical powder? I have recently purchased a roll of Duck Tape glow tape. Very impressed with the glow but I don't know how durable it will be in the water yet.
