He scammed one of my clients into selling his boat for him. He claimed to be a boat broker. He had a flotilla going on around Thetis Island. Apparently he would aquire the boat and then take it and tie it up to his flotilla, and who knows what after. Pretty sure he charged my client for his time to aquire the boat, drive it over to the gulf islands from burrard, and charge moorage at his flotilla

Criminal breach of contract is a thing, but I think stealing people’s **** goes beyond breach of contract. Hard for the crown to press charges if there isn’t physical evidence or the guy is AWOL. And pressing criminal charges is up to the crown’s discretion if I am not mistaken. So in summary, see my previous comment.
