Distance Between Extended Downrigger Tips.......

Just curious........what's the distance between your downrigger tips when they are on your boat and fully deployed?

Yeah, about what GabriolaJohn said. 8 foot beam on my boat, both 60" riggers fully extended. Why do you ask Seafever? Are you having tangling problems?

My little old tin boat was not as wide, maybe 5'5" and the old, short, manual 30" Scotty's. I still caught lots of fish.

Adrianna3...I'm probably 11 feet........I do get a tangle-up now and then when I go deep, usually from turns..... time for a bigger boat if the warden will authorize it....
