Diesel heater install on Northriver Seahawk

Just finished up a installation of a Chinese diesel heater on my
08 NR Seahawk…

How's it work?

What's the orange goop on the heated air distribution ducts?

Unrelated question: if you take water over the bow of the boat does you bilge get flooded? That deck hatch doesn't look watertight.

It works awesome!

The orange goo is RTV gone wild....

The bow has scuppers to drain water if i take water over the bow.. the compartment is not 100% water tight but i have never had any significant want in there.... maybe a cup or so at then end of an extended weekend.... and that usually from rain getting in there as i dont take many waves over the bow...
