Deep or Shallow Reefs : Fish Habbits

Went out the other day and caught 2 chicken halies and 2 lingers. I am begining to notice now that it really doesn't seem to matter where I fish, what was once a great spot for big fish has now become completely unpredictable. What are the opinions out there? Are you noticing a change in fish hang outs and sizes as well? My long time buddies that fish winter harbour / Quatsino have been pulling the strangest size fish outa the water lately. Typicaly aiming for medium sized red snapper, their pulling 170 + pound halis out there now.

I realize that fishing spots change from season to seaon, but as some of you will agree something is deffinatly changing out there.

Seems like it's continually changing. Even for bottomfish that you assume don't migrate a whole lot.

I haven't been out enough this year to see how it's changed in the area I fish. It definitely keeps you guessing.
