But the LEGENDARY tour guide of the Tyee Pool in Campbell River, Dave H. will be celebrating his 80th Birthday May 3rd 2025.

Dolphins Resort has been notified that there may be number of people possibly showing up to wish this Legend In His Own Mind (and some of ours) a Happy Birthday between 10 and 11 AM and will be enjoying a wonderful breakfast.

Any member of the Tyee Club Campbell River that wishes to come and join us in celebrating Dave’s 80th, I will personally give $20 cash to that member towards his or hers breakfast.

I also contacted the Tyee Spit RV Park on Tyee Spit in Campbell River and at 12 noon at their new pergola to have others gather and enjoy a cake to celebrate Dave’s 80th

Yes I have permission for anybody to come enjoy a slice of cake, as long as everyone is welcome.

I guess I’m gonna have to make sure it’s a Tyee

I'll add in my Birthday wishes and appreciation for the many things Dave has done for the recreational fishery, and more importantly the fish. I had the great pleasure of working with Dave on several fish related endeavours when I lived up in Campbell River back in the 1990's. Dave was so involved in many good organizations, helping with fund raising efforts with the proceeds going back into our fish. I can't believe that Dave the surfer and stalwart fisher has cracked 80. Seemed like a while back we were just young dudes trying to help out in any way we could.

Dave many thanks for everything you have done over those 80 years.

Had I known I was going to live this long I would have tried to make something out of myself. Ha ha.
