dangerous levels of radiaition in west coast Tuna

yo,

just heard from someone i work with that health Canada just putout some test results from some test catches they did on the west coast tuna on our coast and how the fish have dangerous levels of radiation from the collapse of the fukushima meltdown..
I pollute my body with things daily so not overly worried about it for myself should but should I re consider feeding the fish to my family?

let me get this straight....you missed the news story , but you heard from a co-worker , that health Canada has posted that west coast albacore tuna have dangerous levels of radiation. this really sounds like pro creditials !!! geeez !!!
We have checked and health Canada has never posted that our west coast Albacore have dangerous levels.
The commercial industry has been monitoring it very closely and there is next to nothing showing.
Our commercial fishermen who work hard and support their families by catching awesome sushimi grade albacore ,do not need people spreading totally false statements like this around with no facts to back it up except (oh , i heard this from a co-worker)
the mods should take this post down. Its posted by a TROLL.

I did not mean to spread any false information what so ever, i was purly asking a question to you guys that i all respect, I am very sorry for this and did not mean any harm by it, this is a sport fish website where i thought it was OK to ask questions.

My gut tells me $$$ comes first and if radiation levels are dangerous we'll be late finding out. Not that it's a problem - but I don't trust health canada.

Now if the radiation ever effects farmed fish that's when the government will take action (to protect the fish).
