Crossing the water border. Gulf islands to san Juans

Looking to get the latest intel on border procedures into the states from the southern islands. I’m familiar with Bedwell but have never been to Roche for example. I was told the customs dock there is closed but they have iPads you use? Also there is a new app? But maybe doesn’t apply with nexus? Appreciate any comments. The USA border website is similar in clarity to DFO’s
