Took the zodiac with my 9.9 horse jet on the Cowwy today. Launched at Stoltz and motored up and over to that nice little slick on the far side. Got into perfect position and layed a few nice drifts down the "seam", after about a dozen or so casts "fish on". Landed a nice wild buck of about 9lbs. That was it so headed up river, pounded a few more slots and picked up a coloured hen about 11lbs. The fly guys didn't seem to happy to see me. Somethin about a frickin jet sled or something, couldn't figure it out? After that we decided to head down river and anchor up at Satlam, couple nice drifts through there and another hook up. A chrome bar of about 8lbs and a real screemer to boot! Didn't see any drift boats but a few trailers at Stoltz, didnt make it out till noon. Had a late night "planning sesssion" with the boyz!! Fished for 4 hours and were rewarded with 3 fish, not bad for the Cowwy. The trick is you gotta "match the hatch"!! Once you do that, the chrome follows!! See ya on the Flow!!
