Hi,
As the title says, I have a Cooey Model 75 single shot .22 for sale. This one dates back to the late 40's or early 50's, and is in extremely good original condition. Neither the wood nor metal has ever been refinished, and there is no reason to do so now. It's extremely good. Has a 26 - 27" barrel, depending on where you measure it from. Must have PAL which will be checked. $195 picked up in Campbell River.

my dad and his younger brother Jim both received these rifles one year for Christmas. My dad was 10 years old and his brother was nine. Different times to say the least but this was Drumheller Alberta in the late 30s. they were dirt, poor, and their dad always told him if you ever see any rabbits or grouse shoot them and bring them home for dinner. one day while they were out hunting they came across a cow moose, bedded down both of them took aim at the cow moose’s head and fired their guns. They quickly reloaded as it got up, fired again, and it was down. Needless to say, their father was very very happy, and it was well appreciated as they now had moose meat for the entire winter. when he died, my little brother got the little Cooey gun. it is a family heirloom to say the least.

Still available for sale..... Someone must want to own a really nice piece of Canadian gunmaking history....
