Commander pod pics

Hey guys I'm thinking of podding my commander 26 in the near future. I have looked through some old threads but some of the pictures are no longer available. I'd love to see some set ups including Tony's with the single 300 outboard. Recommendations on engine sizes and pod style are welcome! PFA 20230419_190512.jpg

I would recommend at least 400 hp. I know a couple people have gone with a single 300 but it’s not enough power. If you have the budget, go even bigger. Commanders are a big 26’ and can hold a lot of stuff.41B551F2-37DA-40D0-8D15-5F05A37CDA50.jpeg

Yeah I think they are a little low. I raised them up 2 holes since the picture was taken but I may try going up further .
It usually works out to around 1.5inch per foot of setback. Thats caviation plate and bottom of the hull relation. Depending on step level, or rake level. Have a look at the cavitation plates when on plane and trimmed out properly.

twin 200's, larger fuel tanks, lower the deck, remove bulkhead.
