CHINOOK measures for the future

Pay attention. It's been mentioned that new chinook measures may be coming to reduce impacts on Fraser 5/2 stocks. It was mentioned at the SFAB meeting. Fraser river FN want impacts reduced further and dfo will be considering options and consulting. Reducing impacts could mean reduced opportunities for non threatened stocks including marked hatchery fish.

The latest study on recreation mortalities won't help.

Pay attention. I've been around enough to know what this could mean.

these fish met escapement numbers this year for sure. And last year no? data doesn’t support restrictions is the key to push not that it matters to libs. Need election in spring and cons get in

Zero high water the last few freshets, we didnt even break 9m at Hope the last two years . Perfect conditions for upstream migration even with the Big Bar issues.

The main threat with the 5-2s has been the netting in the river and the increasing amount of seals.

Until these issues are fixed, you will see the same results.
