In order for me to guiding guilt free this year, I need to find a... one of those listed above. But Im not going to spend over 400$ on a dog. If anyone has any idea where to find one, please contace me. .thanks.

$400 is nothing. Wait till your dog gets banged up running under cars, cracks a tooth chasing rocks on the bottom of the lake, fights a porcupine, gets shots/pills before going in a kennel. Food and maintenance, etc... makes the original outlay inconsequential. Go for a retriever, that other one would be better as Hali bait. Just kidding, be warned- any dog (or kid) costs way more than first expected.

I recommend considering a rescue dog. There are a quite a few organizations in Victoria that bring up dogs from California from the high kill shelters and adopt them out plus lots of local dogs. I have seen a few of these little guys and they are excellent pets, happy as hell to be adopted. Check them out.

Now come on, and I mean no offense to anybody, particularly marula who posted the link, but do we really need to be importing stray dogs from the US and Mexico?
Or is it a simple ploy by somebody setting up bogus bs charities?
