A very similar but smaller rig that sat on a car roof came out in the late 60's. i had one and it was just barely ok ....if you didn't mind messing with the ladder. :D

That would be great.. I would love to see it. I would like to see this unit in person. I have never seen anything like this. I still think it has potential. If I had a 8 foot box I would make this guy an offer. I wonder what one could buy it for. I would spray it with a new coat of proofer. This has red neck hotel writen all over it. 2 up top, two below and 1 in the cott. I see it sleeping 5...Plus a boat. Its great being I hate seting up tents and puting them away. This looks so simple.
