Cheaper prawn bait

Those of you that use pellets as well as Carlyl cat food in your prawn traps might be interested in the fact that Shar-Kare in Courtenay (and I guess elsewhere) is selling a 25kg bag of commercial prawn bait for $57.98. This is a steal compared to what the sports stores are selling smaller quantities for

Well, I'm an electrician and drive around the lower mainland all time so I was going to drop into Ewos surrey and get some. Buddy from port alberni said it was all they used. BUT, when I was a kid I worked farms and all we did was give away rottin salmon to the commies cuz that was the best they said. Fish food 90% fish protien.......

you can also purchase larger bags from fish plants. hub city fish had 25kg bags of pro form for 50 bucks last year.

25KG is 55lbs-- so it seems its the same bag-- just stated in lbs rather than KG.

25KG is 55lbs-- so it seems its the same bag-- just stated in lbs rather than KG.

I realize that, was just pointing out that in the past couple years the fish plants sell the same bag for 5 or 7 bucks cheaper, or at least they did anyway, they also had a selection of brands to choose from. also if you want to get creative they also sell IQF herring, sardines, anchovy etc.

sorry didn't mean bags larger than 55 pounds, just large bags in general as opposed to buying an ice cream bucket full for 20 bucks.
