I love it. Amazing piece of kit for sure. I would buy it from Quality Matters. If you are a member on the black and red site you get even further discount. That is my only regret. I bought mine from Kodiak Health. You can't do whole fillets on larger salmon. Other than that it is perfect for my uses. I bought 1000 5 mil bags 8.5 x12 for 9.5 cents each. The thicker bags are the cat's azz and every single portion I have sealed came out perfect.
The unit it self has a fairly long cycle time of over 1/2 a minute but once you get a system down with two people or yourself it's just as fast as anything or faster really because it is totally hands free except for 3 seconds at the beginning holding the lid down. Being able to bag soups and chowders is very cool. The whole unit is unbelievably over built and should last a lifetime with proper maintenance.
