Well, the secret is out everyone. Catching sockeye in Babine has never been easier. I am a good boy when it comes to fishing and help out all sorts of people. So, you wanna know how to troll for sockeye in Babine lake. Well you came to the right place, here it is lads. First off you are trolling between 45 and 65 ft. You are using a flasher ( black moon jelly , green , rainbow, chrome blue ). For your leader, it should be 1.5 ft and at the end all you are running are a couple of 8 mm beads. The best combination is green and red with minimum 3 beads. AND THATS IT, IT IS THAT EASY. I can not wait for all the locals to cope and seethe at the fact that I gave their secrets away. So what are you waiting for? GO out and troll some sokeye, easy as pie.
