Watching a Big Coast show last night (Episode " Hardy To Bella-Bella ")

At one point he uses bait...and puts it in a teaser-head that he described as a Castle Point Custom patented color......

Any info on these?

They are only available in port hardy from the bait shack. That variety is also called the port hardy special and if you call them they will send you some for $3.50 each. I bought some but haven't tried them yet.

Have to admit, I like Fishtofino's style. Who doesn't like a little sarcasm and humor? He sure has given a ton of info and advice on here. Does that give someone the right to joke around too?

Nothing like getting pm's with threats of physicality after i made a joke. Me thinks he was looking for a chance to jump all over me.

I'm sure those heads would be effective anywhere but the amount of new gear thrown at sportfishers is overwhelming. I still use the same gear that i have always used and the fish still like it....my 2 cents worth

Wow. I bet if you had guided him on his trip he would've blamed you for the bad weather too. I've seen that before.

One of my fishing buddies (Newfie Boy) sometimes deliberately puts Chovies in the RD teaser head upside down when he is on my boat. He calls it the Newfie Roll and I think he does it just to get a rise out of me - and he does LOL. The funny thing is it does still roll, and I have seen it catch summer Chinook.
