Hey all,
I am helping in the organization of a huge event - and it has been confirmed that the Vancouver Canucks Alumni will be coming to Nanaimo to play a charity game against our mens hockey team, comprised of healthcare personnel from the Nanaimo Emergency Department.
This event will directly benefit the Nanaimo and District Hospital Foundation, and the BC Childrens Hospital Foundation. In addition to ticket sales, there will be raffles for ...terrific prizes, 50/50 draws, interactive games and stations for kids, BBQ party and much more.
The full roster is yet to be confirmed, but come on out and you will hopefully see us play against Alumni members such as Orland Kurtenbach, Tiger Williams, Garry Valk, Dave Babych, Kirk McLean, Cliff Ronning, Greg Adams, and more!

Nanaimo Hospital Foundation - Bowen Road
E-Zone Embroidery - Bowen Road

** cash or cheque only, made out to "Hockey for Life"
Tickets will cost $20 for assigned seating, with 100% of the proceeds going to the above mentioned organizations.
RAFFLES:
We have collected over a dozen terrific raffle prizes ranging from overnight packages in Tofino, Ski and Golf getaways, autographed Canucks memorabilia, and more!
Tickets $10 - guaranteed 1:200 or better at a chance at winning a great prize package!
Pre-game festivities and BBQ @ 4pm
Pregame skate and introductions @ 515-545pm
Puck drop @ 6pm
Bring friends, family, and come support our fundraising cause. It is our hope for a capacity crowd of over 2500 people, thus giving us a chance to surpass $50,000 for the hospital foundations!
