Buddy just bought a couple of these 15 pounders, I've never rigged these so how do you guys attach the tail eye or do you bother?

You don't attach the tail eye. But you can put on a dummy spoon there........

I've always used it for dummy flashers or Kone zones-in the old days we would tie on a meat line. Maybe other guys do something different?

I think I'll stick to round balls, buddy got these at a yard sale.

I use the top hook off the ball to attach my rigger line. The back hook off the fin is used to hook the ball to the downrigger arm when I am putting away the rigger once done fishing.
