Campion explorer 185 transom

I have a 1995 explorer 185. Water got into the transom from under the plastic transom cap and from a couple bolts the prior owner didn’t seal. Has anybody had a transom redone on one these? What can I expect this to cost?

I have a 1995 explorer 185. Water got into the transom from under the plastic transom cap and from a couple bolts the prior owner didn’t seal. Has anybody had a transom redone on one these? What can I expect this to cost?

Did one mostly myself on a 93 215explorer. Think the final bill after new fuel tank, repairing/replacing stringers etc was $8k. About $1k of that was hired out labour rest was myself. Glass guy that helped me out figured it woulda been around $12k all tolled if I’d a just dropped the boat off to him. This was around 2007, prices went up considerably on everything since…
