Got lots of additives! best is pickling salt-says right on the box-No Additives

If you're using it for bait and not pickles, Cdn Tire pool salt works for dry brine. I don't do wet brine anymore. It's fine crystals though. 20 kg for less than $10, less when on sale in spring. I don't know if it has additives or iodine or even if it is NaCl.
I left my little bait cooler packed with anchovies,herring and dryish salt in my boat on the trailer in Ukee for two weeks. I thought I would come back to either rotten goo or a rat party. Bait was still useable.
