Know the area well but haven't made it up there this year. Last year was there early May and did well for springs, can be hit and miss. You may want to check with a couple of the resorts on how it is right now (Morgan's Landing, Sonora Resort, Dent Island Lodge). There should be springs up Bute around Orford river, try just past the river. Moe creek, on the left side of the inlet about 10 min past Fawn bluff, is good at this time of year as well. Know the tides, particularly if you are going through Arran rapids on the flood. I do my best with bait up there (cut plug and anchovies). Beautiful country.
