Looks liike my brakes are rusted out on my EZ Load trailer. Seems like the pads and drums are ok but springs pistons etc are pretty much seized. Any suggestions on parts for home fix or where to go for the overhaul. Comox Valley area...Thanks Peege

Try any RV dealer. I have found its sometimes cheeper to buy the whole backing plate assembly and just bolt it on.They come complete.

Give the disc brake kits some thought, Tiedown engineering gives many options. I went to discs on all 4 for the same price as loaded backing plates and new drums, they dont grab and chattter, no more smoking a tire down to the cords with rusty wheel cylinders etc. Super easy to keep flushed and swap out pads, less heat on the bearings. Very easy to install, they even come with new bearings pre packed and ready to rock.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into Tailspin's advice on disc brakes. I trailer into Tahsis with 24 Kingfisher so good brakes are a must. Peege
