This might sound stupid , but I have a Aluminum boat being built by Northwest Aluminum Craft ,The boat is 22' long and a 8.6' beam how much space do you think I need for storage i'll be powering it with a 225 yamaha and a 9.9 kicker that must add to the length right ? is the beam the widest part of the boat ?
does any one know of a boat storage place in Nanaimo if i need it , I do plan on keeping it in the water for 4-6 months of the year or if storage is really expensive should I just keep it in all year ?

I think i might be over thinking ......

Im in the same boat!! haha... One is in covered storage.. at Safe Guard, near Tim Horton's and Costco... The other is in Parksville on my buddies 5 acres.. Ill keep mine in the water next year 4 months then out for the winter... Unless you plan to winter fish a lot, I think having a boat in the water really beats it up.. Even Aluminum.. Anytime you can have a cover its prefered...
Your aluminum will still need cleaning and zinc's replaced more often if its in the water...
Cant wait to see your boat... I was down to see Doug about 2 weeks ago.. he's super busy... looks like he's working his butt off down there to keep up... That just means he does good work...

Try e&d manufacturing in whiskey creek . They have inside storage and you will be totally covered
