fished big q last weekend got lots of fish at around 6 till dark not realy a morning bite got an under size and had a couple bits and thats about it
purple haze flasher with a mini pink hochie 36" and 48" liter ,one at 26 feet and one right on the bottem

what else was working??

My wife and I were there on Monday morning and got a nice spring on a large cop car spoon (5"), no flasher, right on the bottom @ 34'. We tried the flashers and hootchies, squirts, even apex but the only bites we got were on spoons. I lost a nice one [V]on a small army truck spoon behind an army truck flasher (I know, I know, not supposed to fish spoons with flashers...I was getting desperate...throwing everything I had out there). MyEscape got us out there and showed us the route to follow while trolling. He got a couple nice ones on hoothies (different thread). There were lots of guys jigging, saw one jigger land one, too. I've never tried it but looks like it would be more interesting for the kids.
